"Azarga Uranium Corp. has had the final contention for its Nuclear Regulatory Commission license for its Dewey Burdock project positively resolved. The path is now clear for the construction and/or sale of the project, which is widely known to be the best undeveloped in situ recovery uranium project in the United States; the company is my Top Pick in uranium and a Buy."

"Big news for Azarga Uranium Corp. over the past week was something we've been expecting: the resolution of the final contention for the company's Nuclear Regulatory Commission license for the Dewey Burdock project. This was the final hurdle Azarga had to jump before it could get its final class III and class V underground injection control permits from the Environmental Protection Agency; those are in the bag."

"In a positive move, the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board issued its final decision, resolving the final contention against 100%-owned Dewey Burdock project's Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) license in favor of Azarga Uranium Corp. and NRC staff. This means the company's NRC source and byproduct materials license is in good standing, free and clear of any further contentions."

"Azarga Uranium Corp. announced that the Atomic Safety & Licensing Board (ASLB) has dismissed the final contention related to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission license issued for its flagship in situ uranium project Dewey Burdock. . .the positive decision from the ASLB is a huge boost for the company and significantly derisks the Dewey Burdock project, opening the way for aggressive advancement including pursuing other required permits for future construction and production."

The report validates the Colorado-based company's strategy.

"Azarga Uranium Corp. announced an updated preliminary economic assessment (PEA) and resource estimate for the 100%-owned, world-class Dewey Burdock in situ recovery project. . .there were vast improvements in project economics as compared to the 2015 PEA. The main contributor is the larger resource estimate which was able to add five years to life of mine."

Political uncertainty around uranium mining there and the company's desire to focus solely on its U.S. assets prompted the sale.
