The company signs six new contracts for its telemedicine-based platform.

Reliq Health Technologies Inc. (RHT:TSX.V; RQHTF:OTCQB) announced in a news release it signed contracts with six new Texas-based healthcare groups.

The mobile health and telemedicine solutions company will provide them with its iUGO Care Remote Patient Monitoring and Chronic Care Management modules. For some, it also will provide the iUGO Home product line for specific patient populations. All of these offerings support care coordination and community-based healthcare.

These new clients of Reliq consist of physician practices, home health agencies, a pharmacy network and a home hospice organization, which cumulatively serve more than 3,000 patients with chronic diseases or needing palliative care.

"We are very pleased to welcome six new clients to Reliq’s iUGO Care platform," said Dr. Lisa Crossley, CEO of Reliq Health Technologies. "These six new clients include physician practices, home health agencies, a home hospice organization and a pharmacy network with multiple locations across South Texas. These healthcare organizations will be using the iUGO Care Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and Chronic Care Management (CCM) modules, and in some cases the iUGO Home product line for specific patient populations. Together these six care providers serve over 3,000 chronic disease and palliative patients. We expect to go live with all six clients in December."

The company notes that its "powerful iUGO Care platform supports care coordination and community-based healthcare. iUGO Care allows complex patients to receive high quality care at home, improving health outcomes, enhancing quality of life for patients and families and reducing the cost of care delivery. iUGO Care provides real-time access to remote patient monitoring data, allowing for timely interventions by the care team to prevent costly hospital readmissions and ER visits."
