The intent is to offer customers experiential and educational shopping on its site.

NexTech AR Solutions Corp. (NTAR:CSE; NEXCF:OTCQB) announced in a news release it signed an e-commerce deal with The Wright Brothers USA to augment some of its online merchandise.

For The Wright Brothers, NexTech will create three-dimensional (3D) models of and apply augmented reality features to several pieces of its merchandise and apparel—a bicycle, a pair of sunglasses and a pair of goggle. It also will install the technology to capture and collect consumer reactions when they try on the eyewear.

As a result, customers will be able to look at products fully in 3D and with 360-degree rotation and virtually try on glasses and goggles before making a purchase decision. When customers use the try on feature online, their reactions will be analyzed in real time to drive purchases and will be collected for use in later marketing efforts.

Another feature NexTech will apply, specifically to the bicycle and goggles, is a 'moment stealing ' interactive experience in which "realistic lessons," ideal for students exploring science, technology, engineering and math, will be delivered, on aviation, technology and engineering, directly into their homes and classrooms, the release noted.

"Our partnership with The Wright Brothers USA is unique as we're bringing together two different use cases for augmented reality: retail and education," NexTech CEO Evan Gappelberg said in the release.
