The company announces it has entered into a letter of intent with Japan cryptocurrency miner.

Hilltop Cybersecurity Inc. (CYBX:CSE; CYBXF:OTCQB) recently announced a letter of intent (the "LOI") with Island Mining of Japan.

"Hilltop Cybersecurity has secured a new customer for its key frontline services including its core network infrastructure, threat orchestration, and cyberEPM for secure project management," stated the company in a news release.

Hilltop received an order in excess of $1 million from Island Mining led by CEO Christopher Filiatrault, a company focused on cryptocurrency technology and cryptocurrency mining,"said the company.

"Hilltop applauds Island Mining's vision of building a crypto-mining business that mines and sells mining equipment based on the bedrock of known security procedures versus re-active security," stated Corby Marshall, CEO of Hilltop Cybersecurity.

"Island Mining has been researching cyber-security companies and looking into different solutions but ultimately chose Hilltop as they can provide the products, services and support our company needs. In the cryptocurrency mining industry, security is our number one concern as it's imperative we protect ourselves, our clients and our customers," said Christopher Filiatrault, CEO of Island Mining.

With 30 years of experience developing and leading teams in a variety of internet-based businesses, Filiatrault's most recent deal included founding and raising over $25 million for DMG Blockchain Solutions Inc., a company that specializes in cryptocurrency and blockchain solutions. Island Mining is his current venture, a global mining development corporation capitalizing on the successful 7 nanometer technology.
